They got to take them home in small peat pots once they got a bit bigger. Some will be planted in the Raptor Patch. They planted yellow squash, zucchini, pumpkin, spinach, radishes, corn, gourds and butternut squash.
Then they painted birdhouses and we talked about the pros and cons of having birds in your garden.
The kids requested doing another nature walk and spent some time cleaning up the garden to get it ready to plant in.
