Veggie Roll Call and New Garden Name

Thanks to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders we now have planted:
Tomato plants
3 types of Lettuce
Spinach
Radishes
Kohlrabi
Grape plants
Sweet peas
Bush beans
Carrots
Green onions
Various herbs
Cabbage
Pumpkin
Squash
Gourds
Corn
Pole beans
Sunflowers
Flower mix
Day lilys

And I have had an overwhelming response from parents to take care of the garden this summer!!!! About 25 families have committed to at least one week in the garden this summer. Thank you Rice students and parents!!!! You are the ones who will make our garden SOAR!

And the new name for our garden is "The Raptor Patch" thought up by Christian Lehman in 3rd grade.
