Welcome to our garden blog! We want to share what it takes to start and run a school based organic vegetable garden.
Our school garden enables us to integrate standards-based curriculum in exciting, hands-on ways such as service-learning projects. Growing food will also allow students to make decisions to change the environment and community as well as make healthy lifestyle choices.
I think we made it! It is amazing how we can accomplish such wondering things, when everyone pulls together and does their part! The garden looks fabulous!
